Respiratory diseases are one of the leading causes of health issues, poor productive performance and mortality in growing and finishing pigs. Pathogens of various types can cause respiratory diseases, including but not limited to bacteria, viruses, and parasites. Prevention, diagnosis, control and elimination of respiratory diseases are critical to provide animal welfare, and to allow the expression of the pig’s full production potential.
