NRCS Conservation Plans- How Do They Fit With CNMPs?

Conservation planning is a natural resource problemsolving process. The process integrates ecological, economic, and production consideration in meeting both the animal feeding operator (AFO) owners/operators objectives and the production of public resources. The conservation plan developed as a result of the process, serves as a tool to manage soil, water manure and organic by-products. The planning process has proven highly successful in assisting individuals, groups, and communities to develop plans for resource management.
