Slaughter Hog and Other Livestock Prices
Introduction
This series of factsheets lists data sources and associated hyperlinks to relevant livestock price websites. Although this is a pork related factsheet some of the websites contain data for several livestock species. To go to the desired website click on the internet link provided in the third column of the references. Some websites offer the opportunity to do a more search defining specific products, time frames, etc.
Objectives
- Locate current prices of livestock, grains, feedstuffs, etc.
- Locate prices of slaughter hogs, sows and boars at auction and terminal markets
- Locate daily and weekly prices of live animals and carcasses
- Locate cutout values
