Swine Statistical References

Introduction

 

Locating statistical information is often difficult. This factsheet lists data sources and associated hyperlinks to websites. Included are data for counties, states, United States and world numbers. The factsheet is sorted into the following categories: GENERAL (including the U.S. Census of Agriculture, state data, food composition and consumption, and retail prices and farm values), PRICES (including feeder and slaughter hog, retail, and futures/options), NUMBERS (including slaughter, number of operations, hog and pig reports, outlook, etc.), COSTS OF PRODUCTION, U.S. AND INTERNATIONAL DATA (including international production, trade and consumption), and UNIVERSITY LIVESTOCK MARKETING SPECIALISTS (personal websites listing statistical references).
